Caroline Jaine is a British artist/writer currently based in Stroud. Although she has written short stories, Lone Wolf: in the temple of the writer is her first and long anticipated major work of fiction. The books draw on her rich travel experiences, her work in counter-terrorism, and her fascination for writers like De Lillo and Baudrillard.
Caroline is a celebrated non-ficton writer on the subjects of conflict, communications and creativity for a number of platforms including the World Bank blog and Pakistani news agency, Dawn. Her book, A Better Basra about her harrowing experience in Iraq was launched at the House of Lords in 2011. Caroline has lectured at various British Universities and in 2012 had her first paper published in an academic journal – the subject was a critique of outreach to Muslim communities in the UK.
